It will prevent seizure in moments of temporary over-heating, as well as minimising deposit formation in the ports and exhaust. Can be used in both pre-mix and injector systems.
An ideal choice for 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s British, Japanese and European classic 2-Stroke motorcycle and scooter engines, including: Villiers, BSA, Bultaco, Lambretta, Vespa, Honda, Yamaha and many others.
Golden Film SAE 20 Classic Motor Oil
Golden Film Classic Oils are a specialist range of high quality, low detergent/dispersant monograde lubricants. These oils are suitable for use in naturally aspirated four stroke petrol and diesel engines and classic gearbox designs.
Golden Film Classic Motor Oils are recommended for use in veteran, classic and vintage cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and tractors, where engine design and tolerances prohibit the use of modern multigrade, high additive level oils. Modern dispersant additives keep combustion chamber contamination suspended in the lubricant, allowing full flow cartridge filters to remove it. Early oil filtration, usually in the form of a mesh gauze or strainer, is not efficient enough to remove this suspended material. Golden Film Motor Oils are low dispersant oils and allow the suspended matter to drop harmlessly into the sump.
Golden Film Classic Motor Oils also have enhanced anti-foam properties ensuring optimised performance in motorcycle and automotive classic gearbox designs.
Golden Film Running in Oil
GOLDEN FILM RUNNING IN OILFOR NEW OR REBUILT ENGINES
Golden Film running-in oil is a speciality SAE 30 product that should be used for the running in of new or rebuilt petrol and diesel engines, where it promotes the quick and safe bedding in of mating surfaces. The use of Golden Film running-in oil during the running in period helps to remove the machining glaze from cylinder bores, assists the formation of essential oil retaining surfaces, and therefore prevents the possibility of bore polishing.
Careful running-in using this product can prevent any problems during this period and can greatly extend engine life. Golden Film running-in oil is blended from high quality mineral oils and a carefully balanced additive system. Directions for Use Golden Film running-in oil should be used for 25 hours or 500 miles to permit controlled wear allowing surfaces to mate and bed-in.
K6 White Brake Grease
K6 White Brake Grease
K6 is a premium quality, water resistance grease for use in industrial and marine applications where the presence of water and humid atmospheres can effect lubricating performance and be detrimental to the protection of parts from corrosion. K6 is further enhanced with a special additive which provides additional protection and lubrication in areas where excessive levels of water are prevalent such as water pumping equipment.
Key Features & Specification
• Extremely high degree of water resistance
• Excellent corrosion protection
• Good sealing properties
This grease is recommended for the lubrication and protection of brake backing plates and plunger housings. It can also be used as a general industrial grease in wet and humid atmospheres.
As with all greases used for the first time, check compatibility with the grease applied previously and if necessary purge prior to application. Likewise, as a general rule, take care not to over-lubricate and apply the quantity of grease recommended by the manufacturer.
