Day 1

Picture
Today i started to work on a kit car...i met with the owner last weekend near my house,he had a problem with his new hobby, cause the engine doesn`t wanted to start with flat battery....i was on my way to buy something, and seen him and his mate to push the car on the road try to fire it up...i joined to them to give it a push....after a few meter the engine started run...they said :"cheers mate!" and i just walked a way saying :"no problem!"
Couple of hours later, when they came back from a road test i've met them again...i had a word with them, and the owner explained what happened...it was a bit overheated, battery flat,no start again...
I told him i'm a mechanic, and i can check a few things on it,investigate what's going on,if he want me to do it...he said, yes do it...this is where the project began...

When it is arrived to my garage i started check it around, and i found a few things wrong...i rang the owner, told him what is the situation,he said get everything right!....I will do!

What Our Clients Are Saying

"Laszlo has performed the most amazing bare metal nuts and bolts restoration on my Jaguar XJS Lister. His talented ability to refabricate from scratch, metal panels that are no longer available has kept the project moving and at a very reasonable cost. It is rare to find a restorer who can weld, fabricate and also strip refurbish the engine and all of the mechanicals on the car."

"Top of the range work, can turn his hand to anything and everything is 110% perfect. - Mark Fruedenhauf, Cheshire UK'

"Laszlo did a great job on my Morris 1000, gave a reasonable quote, then booked in for some excellent fabrication work on basically a whole front end and door posts of my Morris and numerous other welding repairs at workshop - the car now rescued, looks original again. Looking at his other excellent work and projects, like the Jag and Issetta, my Morris was a walk in the park! If you need a restoration job doing then look no further than The Classic Mechanic - D. Haycock UK"
